Midland Reviews Marijuana Status

After a lengthy discussion Monday, Midland City Council members chose to NOT change the community’s “opt out” status under the state’s current marijuana statutes for now.

City Manager Brad Kaye says the Council will review the issue again early next year.

Some Council members thought consideration could be given to certain businesses focused on either research or transportation related to marijuana.
