Midland Open Door Providing Two Christmas Meals

A Midland County soup kitchen will provide two holiday meals this week.

Midland’s Open Door at 412 Buttles St. in Midland, the only soup kitchen in the county, will provide lunch on Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Dinner will be served Christmas Day from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Both meals will be served grab-and-go style using the front porch of the men’s crisis shelter. Donations of homemade cookies and other generous gifts from the community will be available during both serving times.
