Midland Mayor Reelected, New Council Member to Be Sworn In

The Midland City Council met Monday night, with a new council member representing Ward 3.
Dave Pasek was elected after running unopposed for the seat, after council member Steve Arnosky decided not to run for reelection. Pasek was not at Monday’s meeting and will be sworn in at a later date.
Also on the council are returning members Marty Wazbinski, Tim Soler, Diane Brown-Wilhelm and Maureen Donker. Donker was once again chosen to be Midland’s Mayor by the other council members, it being her eighth term as mayor, while Brown-Wilhelm will serve as Mayor Pro Tem. Wazbinski was nomited by Brown-Wilhelm for the position, but he declined.
