Midland Man, Two Police Officers Injured in Fire

The Midland Police Department is investigating a Thursday, December 24 fire in which a resident and two police officers were injured.
Officials say the fire began in a detached garage at a home in the 1500 block of W. Union St. around 11:15 p.m. A 49-year-old man suffered serious burns in the fire while the two officers suffered less serious injuries. All the victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
