Michigan to Receive $61 Million for Lead Service Line Replacement

The State of Michigan is set to receive over $61 million for the replacement of lead water service lines.
Thursday, the US Environmental Protection Agency announced a $3 billion investment each year for the next three years in the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. Michigan has an estimated 203,000 lead service lines still in use.
