Tom McDonald Jr. proudly greets guests and shows them some of the features on some antique Fords from his late father’s collection as the dealership celebrates 25 years in business in Freeland. You might find it astonishing to see tilt-wheel steering in a 1921 Ford or learn how people in bygone days had to learn how to safely crank the engine to start the car.
The weeklong celebration began last Friday with a WSGW remote broadcast in which McDonald talked about the past 25 years in business.
The McDonald Ford dealership has invited Freeland businesses and the community to stop in from 11-2 each day through Friday to enjoy a free BBQ lunch and check out the Ford offerings from then and now.
McDonald Ford is at 6790 Midland Road.
