Man Stabbed in Domestic Altercation In Ubly

A Huron County man was hospitalized Tuesday night with serious injuries after an altercation led to his stabbing.

Police were called to an apartment complex in Ubly where they found the 34-year-old man suffering from a single stab wound to his back. Police say the man implicated his 32-year-old wife as the suspect before he lost consciousness. According to police, the couple was having marital trouble for some time. The woman had an address in Pigeon. She was located outside the apartment and arrested.

The man was taken to McLaren Thumb Region Hospital for treatment. The woman is being held in the Huron County Jail on a $25,000 bond. She is awaiting arraignment.
