A 20-year-old Mount Pleasant man was arrested Wednesday, January 19 after stealing a vehicle from a Mt. Pleasant auto dealership.

Police arrived at the Right Way Auto at 1119 S. Mission St. just before 10 a.m., where witnesses say the suspect produced a handgun and stole the vehicle, then fled the scene. Police were able to identify the suspect because he left his own vehicle at the scene of the crime.

He was arrested without incident in Bay County.  Police recovered a BB gun believed to be used in the robbery.
