Man Pleads In Clare County Drug Bust

A Clare County man will be sentenced in federal court after pleading guilty to drug possession with intent to deliver.
In February, Clare County deputies conducted a traffic stop on US-10 near North Loomis Road in Wise Township. Police called in a K-9 officer, named Mando, who discovered a large amount of meth and an illegal handgun in the suspect’s vehicle.
The investigation was conducted with cooperation between the Bureau of Indian Affairs, MINT, Michigan State Police, and the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department.
