Man Killed In Gladwin County Motorcycle Crash
The Gladwin county Prosecutor’s office is reviewing details of a crash to determine if charges will be filed after a motorcyclist was killed last Thursday.
Police say 73-year-old Wayne Mulholland was driving a Harley Davidson on Estey Road west of Martin Road in Billings Township around 9:25 A.M. when his motorcycle and a 2015 Ford Escape, driven by an 84-year-old man, collided. It isn’t clear what cause the crash or who the at fault driver was. However, Mulholland was killed at the scene.
Initial reports indicated a garbage truck was involved in the crash, though that turned out to be inaccurate. The Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by State Police, the Billings and Beaverton Fire Departments, and the Michigan Institute of Forensic Science and Medicine.
