Man Dead After Shooting at Kochville Twp. Hooters

Police are looking for the suspect in a fatal shooting Tuesday night at the Hooters on Bay Road in Kochville Township. Police responded about 9:20 p.m., where they found 38-year-old Donald Patrick Junior dead near his vehicle. Saginaw County Sheriff William Federspiel said Patrick worked at the restaurant and was there alone.

Federspiel said a pizza delivery driver called 911 after hearing the gunshots while driving by. The driver said he saw a man in a white hooded sweatshirt running toward the Walmart, behind Hooters. A police K-9 lost the suspect’s scent, and Federspiel said that’s likely because got into a vehicle.

Police were viewing surveillance video from nearby businesses. They ask anyone with information to report it by callling 911.
