Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Neighbor in Bay City

A Bay City man is facing criminal charges after allegedly threatening his neighbor.
Police responded to the 300 block of McGraw Street just before midnight Tuesday for a report of a man threatening the neighbor with a handgun and a machete. When police arrived on the scene, the 51-year-old suspect initially refused to come out of his home. The State Police Emergency Services team was called in to assist. The man eventually surrendered to police Wednesday morning. Police found a machete and a BB gun in the home.
The man is being held in the Bay County Jail and his arraignment is pending.
