Around 15 people, including residents and local officials met with Michigan Department of Transportation representatives in their Bay City area office Wednesday afternoon to hear about upcoming MDOT projects over the next five years.

Bay City MDOT Cost and Scheduling Engineer Ryan McDonald says key initiatives next year include the reconstruction of I-75 between Linwood and Cottage Grove Roads in Bay County.

There’s also milling and resurfacing of east bound US-10 from the Bay-Midland County line to the Bay City limits planned for 2017.

Also watch next year for deck patching, joint replacement, approach work and painting along portions of Wilder and Wheeler over the M-13 connector.
