Long Time Saginaw Township Officer Dies

Saginaw Township police are mourning the loss of one of their own.

69-year-old Officer Mike Andrews died May 4 due to complications from COVID-19. Andrews’ career in law enforcement was more than 40 years. He began with the state police, retiring after 25 years before serving as a part time officer for the Tittabawasse and Saginaw Township Police Departments. He also served with the Saint Charles and Thomas Township departments.

Colleagues remember Andrews as a “great guy to be around,” always having a positive attitude.
