The Michigan Gaming Control Board raided a Bridgeport Township business last week to shut down an alleged illegal gambling operation.
The state agency seized six slot-type machines, 11 computers, over $6,300 in alleged gambling proceeds and more than $182,000 worth of Simon gift cards from the PlayStation Bar & Grill at 6154 Dixie Highway. No arrests were made in the sting.
Officials with the board say the PlayStation owner was given a cease and desist order in 2019 while operating the Nudgemaster Cafe in Grand Rapids, also for illegal gambling operations.
