I-75 Crash Kills Black Bear

Michigan State Police at the Flint Post are investigating a crash that left a full-grown black bear dead in the roadway on I-75 near Beecher Road.

Troopers were dispatched to investigate the bear in the road about 1:00 Monday morning. The vehicle involved in the crash had left the scene before troopers arrived.

The bear carcass was turned over to the The Department of Natural Resources, Law Enforcement Division for further investigation.
