Huron County Crash Claims Life of Marlette Man

Police in Huron County are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a 62-year-old Marlette man Friday, June 8.

Police say Vincent Bechard was driving a Saturn on M-24 south of Atwater Rd. in Sherman Township around 6:15 p.m. when his vehicle was struck by a Buick Enclave driven by a 30-year-old Harbor Beach man. Bechard died from injuries sustained in the crash, while his 62-year-old passenger was taken to a local hospital for specialized treatment.

The Buick driver suffered minor injuries.
