Charges are pending against a Roscommon man in the Crawford County Jail after allegedly attacking another man with a hot liquid.
Police say the incident occurred in the 600 block of the I-75 business loop in Grayling around 8:30 A.M. when the 24-year-old suspect threw what is described only as a boiling hot liquid at the 48-year-old Grayling Township man, and then allegedly pulled a knife on him. The victim suffered burns to his face and hands and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect left the scene on foot before police arrived. As police conducted a search, the local high school was placed into secure mode as a precaution. The suspect was eventually located and arrested.
