Friday Shooting in Saginaw Under Ivestigation, One Wounded

Police in Saginaw are investigating a shooting that took place in Old Town Saginaw Friday, June 3.

The incident occurred around 1:00 A.M. in the area of Court and Hamilton streets. Police say they believe two groups of people were firing at each other during a large party.

Police found between 50 to 100 shell casings on the scene, although there was no one around when they arrived. One man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. No other injuries were reported.
