Frankenmuth Man Found Dead in Tuscola County Following Disappearance

The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a Frankenmuth man who was reported missing last Friday.
Police say 72-year-old Michael Sevard was last seen driving a white 2023 GMC Sierra in the 3000 block of Towerline Road in Bridgeport. On Saturday around noon, police discovered the vehicle driven into a field off East Tuscola Road near the Cass River. Police found Sevard’s bodya short distance from the truck. Sevard had a medical condition requiring regular medication and attention, though an exact cause of death has not been made available at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
