Flint Woman Killed, Suspect Crashes Vehicle with Body Inside

Police in Flint are investigating a homicide after responding to a crash several miles from the crime.

Police say a 31-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman living in a home in the 2200 block of Winona Street got into an argument in the early hours of Monday morning when the man allegedly shot and killed the woman. Police say he then placed heer body in a car and left the scene. However, the man crashed the vehicle in the area of North Center and Coldwater roads. He was arrested and placed in the Genesee County Jail where he’s awaiting arraignment.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Flint Police Department.
