Flint to Host Gun Buy Back Day in December

The city of Flint is promoting an event to get guns off the streets.
The Flint Police Department and the Cathedral of Faith Church are hosting a gun buy back on December 2 from noon to 5:00 P.M. The buy back will only accept assault-style firearms. Handguns will not be accepted. Payment of up to $500 will be based on the style and value of the firearm. No ammunition will be allowed on the premises.
The event will take place at the church at 6031 Dupont Street in Flint.
