Final Sentences Handed Down in Engelhardt Murder

The last two people involved in the October 2021 death of a Birch Run Township man were sentenced to prison last week.
Scott Engelhardt was killed when Kyle Bostic, Nolan Croton, Jordan Schmitzer, Faith Lord and Jordan Harrison entered his home to rob him of his drugs. Schmitzer shot and killed Engelhardt, then later returned to the house and set it on fire. Schmitzer was sentenced to life in prison, while Bostic and Croton were both sentenced to a minimum of 12 years.
Last week, Lord was sentenced to 10 to 40 years in prison, while Harrison will serve a minimum of seven years.
