Fatal Fire Kills Two Children

Two children died and five people were hurt in a fire in Ogemaw County Thursday morning. It started about 8:00 a.m. in Mills Township. The sheriff’s office said the children who died were 2 and 5 years old. Three other children and their parents were airlifted to Hurley Medical Center in Flint for treatment of severe burns.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
