Family Safe After Carrollton Township Fire

A Carrollton Township house fire is under investigation.
The fire occurred Sunday, July 10 around 10:00 a.m. in the 2900 block of Hanchett St. Officials say a woman and three children smelled smoke and safely evacuated the home.
The fire started in the upstairs portion of the house. Crews arrived on the scene and were able to contain the fire in about two hours.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
