Emergency Responders Rescue Man from Vehicle in Water

Rescue crews from Kawkawlin were dispatched at 05:13 Saturday morning to an for a vehicle in the water at the end of Linwood Road.
When they arrived, responders found a person inside a vehicle in the water yelling for help and pounding on roof of vehicle. Responders donned cold water suits to get to the man, who they found was not injured. They broke out the back window so he could get out of the vehicle. The man was brought to shore and treated by EMS at the scene.
The Bay County Sheriff’s office is investigating the crash.
