Dirtbike Rider Killed in Isabella County After Man Hits Him with Truck

A 54-year-old Coldwater Township man is facing charges after allegedly running down a rider on a dirtbike in Isabella County Wednesday.
Police say a 29-year-old Lake man was with a friend riding dirt bikes in the 7000 block of West Stevenson Lake Road around 9:15 A.M. when the older man allegedly got into a 2020 GMC pickup truck and chased the pair. Police say he struck the Lake man’s bike from behind, causing his death. He is facing a charge of reckless driving causing death.
The incident remains under investigation.
