Deer Crashes Through Saginaw Township Furniture Store

A deer is okay after allegedly breaking and entering into a Kochville Township furniture store on Tuesday.

Police responded to the Gardner White store on Tittabawassee Road after they say a doe crashed through a window around 3:40 P.M. According to police, the deer ran around the building for about 15 minutes, eventually becoming tired and allowing police to approach it. However, instead of arresting the deer for a potential crime, they set it free from a loading bay door.

A cost of damages from the deer’s visit has not been provided, though it’s unlikely the doe will be forced to pay restitution.
