Crash Into Buggy in Clare County Injures Amish Man

An Amish man in Clare County was injured Friday, December 3 while driving a horse-drawn buggy.

The 43-year-old man was driving the buggy on Beaverton Rd. east of Hoover Rd. in Sheridan Township around noon when it was rear ended by a Buick Rendezvous driven by a 31-year-old Gladwin man. The Amish man was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Police say the horse was okay.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
