Closure Notice Lifted for Bay County’s South Linwood Beach

The Bay County Health Department has lifted a closure notice issued earlier this week for South Linwood Beach. The closure notice came after water samples showed bacteria levels above Michigan water quality standards.
Samples collected on Wednesday, June 12 were back in compliance with state regulations, therefore full body contact recreational activities are now considered safe.
