Child’s Death Under Investigation

Midland Police are investigating the death of a 1-year-old girl. Officers responded to the 5200 block of Hedgewood Drive just after 3:00 Tuesday afternoon for a report of a child who wasn’t breathing. Emergency medical personnel were giving the child CPR when officers arrived.

The child was taken to MidMichigan Health in Midland, where she was pronounced dead. Midland Police are asking anyone with information about this case to call them at (989)839-4713.
