Child Killed In Bed from Shooting in Flint

Police in Flint are investigating the shooting death of a 12-year-old girl.
Late Tuesday night, police responded to a home in the 4700 block of Canterbury Lane for a report of a shooting, where they found 12-year-old Trinity Davis suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was asleep in her bed, accoridng to police, who say she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Davis is the fifth person under the age of 18 in the Flint area within the past three weeks to lose their lives to gun violence. Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the Flint Police Department. Anonymous tips can also be called in to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL.
