Child Abducted From Missouri Possibly In Mid-Michigan
The Clare County Sheriff’s Department is looking for information regarding the location of a five-year-old girl, abducted from Macon County, Missouri on June 1, 2023.
Police in Macon County say Elizabeth Faith Askew and her husband Devon Askew abducted her daughter, Priscilla Lozuaway, who was four at the time. The couple had been in a custody battle with the girl’s biological father, Christopher Lozuaway, and did not return the girl to his custody and disappeared. Police say Elizabeth failed to appear for court hearings multiple times last October, and an arrest warrant was issued for child abduction. A judge has granted Lozuaway sole custody of Priscilla following her abduction.
According to police, Elizabeth’s parents sold their family farm and relocated to Harrison, and police believe the Askews may have moved with them. However, searches of three separate locations in Clare County have not turned up any results. Police say the Askew’s family members have been tight-lipped about their location and the child’s welfare.
Lozuaway is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of his daughter. Police say the Askews drive a dark red Toyota Prius with a Missouri license plate number GF8X7N.
