Bridgeport Man Arraigned on Child Pornography Charges

Police are encouraging parents to talk to their kids about the safe use of the internet after a Bridgeport man was arrested for possessing child pornography.

An investigation into 64-year-old John Henry Gomez began after police learned he was allegedly viewing child sexually abusive material online. After digital evidence was seized from his home, Gomez turned himself into police. He is charged with aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.

Anyone who suspects a child might be sexually exploited can submit tips to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org.
