Brenda Moore Reelected As Saginaw Mayor

The Saginaw City Council has once again chosen Brenda Moore to be the Mayor of Saginaw.

Moore was first elected to council in 2013, and became actively involved in the Michigan Municipal League, assists municipal leaders in administering services to their communities through League programs and services. She was selected as the League’s Board of Trustees president in 2019 – 2020. Moore served as Mayor Pro Tem of Saginaw from 2018 – 2020, and was elected mayor in 2020.

The city council has also chosen Priscilla Garcia to serve as Mayor Pro Tem. Garcia was first elected to council in 2022. She is actively involved with many organizations and groups in Saginaw, such as Christmas with Angels, the Arson Watch committee and the East Side Soup Kitchen.
