Bay City Commissioners Approve New Police Union Contract

A new four-year agreement is in place between Bay City and the local Police Officers Association of Michigan bargaining unit through June 30th, 2023.

The contract approved by City Commissioners Monday, May 6 includes equalization of overtime to include the Fire Operations Division.

There’s  also a 1.5% pay raise with ratification, plus a similar raise July 1 and again every six months afterward, with the last hike coming January 1, 2023.
