Baby’s Death Under Investigation in Saginaw

Saginaw Police are investigating the death of a 1-year-old child, and the parents are facing charges.  Officers and an ambulance responded to a home in the 700 block of Stephens about 7:30 Tuesday morning, Aug. 17, after a call reporting a baby not breathing.  Paramedics’ attempts to revive the baby were not sucessful.

Police said the parents were there when officers arrived, and taken in for questioning. They were later arrested and were awaiting formal charges in the Saginaw County Jail.
