Authorities Continue Search for Man Missing on Saginaw Bay

The search for a man missing on Saginaw Bay since Sunday afternoon continues. The Bay County Sheriff’s office said a patrol boat searched throughout the night Monday and continued on Tuesday.

The missing man has been identified as 58-year-old Timothy Wallschlager of Carrollton Township. He was with several others on a pontoon boat when he jumped into the water and never resurfaced.  The Coast Guard rescued a woman who jumped in to try and rescue Wallschlager.
