Arrests Made in Thefts from Genesee, Saginaw Counties

Three men were arrested after police say an investigation linked them to thefts in Genesee and Saginaw Counties.

Nickolaus Bristol, Timothy Childers, and Ronald Gene Hawley each face various charges including Larceny of $20,000 or more, Breaking and Entering of a vehicle to steal $20,000 or more, and Conducting a Criminal Enterprise.

Flint Township Police officers responded to a business on the morning of Monday, December 11th. Investigators say several suspects had broken in over the weekend and stolen a work truck, trailers, and around $200,000 in work tools. Officials say multiple search warrants led to the arrests, and additional evidence linked them to other crimes, including the theft of 5 vehicles, including 3 classic cars, from a homeowner in Frankenmuth.

According to police, multiple stolen vehicles and many of the tools were discovered hidden around Genesee County and have been returned to their rightful owners.
