6 Arrested in October Flint Mall Shooting

6 suspects have been arrested in connection to the recent shooting in Flint’s Genesee Valley Center Mall.

Mikhael Emmanuel Collins, Lionell Jabar Brown, Desmion William Hodo, Trevon Lanard Davis, and two other unidentified men arrested in Texas have been taken into custody on numerous obstruction, destruction, attempted murder, and firearm related offenses.

Collins, Brown, Hodo, and Davis have been arraigned in Genesee County District Court.

The two suspects in Texas are awaiting extradition proceedings before being transported to Michigan.

Flint Township Police announced the charges stemming from the October 16th shooting near the mall’s JC Penney store that sent two victims to the hospital with critical injuries.

Listed charges for each suspect so far:

-Mikhael Emmanuel Collins: assault with intent to murder, discharging a firearm in a building causing impairment, malicious destruction of property totaling $1,000 to $20,000 and four weapons charges.

-Lionell Jabar Brown: assault with intent to murder, discharging a firearm in a building causing impairment, malicious destruction of property totaling $1,000 to $20,000, possession of a machine gun, and seven weapons charges.

-Desmion William Hodo: possession of a machine gun and two other weapons charges.

-Trevon Lanard Davis: tampering with evidence, lying to a police officer and two weapons charges.

-Suspects arrested in Texas: assault with intent to murder, discharging a firearm in a building causing impairment, malicious destruction of property totaling $1,000 to $20,000 and several other weapons charges.
