A former Grand Blanc hypnotherapist could face life in prison for sexually assaulting his patients.
73-year-old John Tomlinson was convicted of one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, five counts of second-degree CSC, and one count of unlawful imprisonment. Charges were first filed against Tomlinson after a woman accused him of sexually assaulting her during a hypnotherapy treatment in 2017. After that, more victims came forward with allegations dating back to 2013, saying the assaults occurred while they were under various states of mental incapacity.
Tomlinson’s sentencing has been scheduled for September 30.
