Boy Shot by 11-Year-Old Girl in Burton

A six-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Thursday in Burton, who police say was shot by an 11-year-old girl.

Police say the incident happened at a Burton home and are working to determine how the girl got a hold of the gun. The boy was wounded in the leg and is expected to make a full recovery.

One person was initially in custody but no charges have been filed at this time.
