The Bay County Fair is back for its 154th year through Saturday, August 10.

The fair features rides, new vendors with delicious food, mini tractor pulls and mud drag races, exotic animals and a petting zoo, among other things.

Fair Board Treasurer Kristy Brandt says the weather has been cooperative so far with rain staying away and cooler temperatures compared to 2018. Brandt added enhanced support from the county translated into the state making grant money available to upgrade the horse and livestock barns. A future priority will be improving grandstand seating.

The Fair is located on Livingston just off Center in Bay City.
