Man Killed in Taymouth Township Shooting

State police are investigating a shooting in Taymouth Township Wednesday that left a man dead.
Police responded to the 6200 block of Rathburn Road just after 10:00 A.M. for a report of shots fired. They found the wounded man and attempted to give aid, but the victim died at the scene.
A woman who was also at the scene was detained by police, though no formal charges were announced.
