30 Vehicle Crash in Genesee County Shuts Highway Down for Hours

Whiteout conditions and slippery roads during Thursday’s snowstorm contributed to a 30 vehicle pile-up in Genesee County.
The crashes began around 10:40 A.M. near Baldwin Road, according to first responders on the scene. Both the north and south bound lanes were closed to traffic as emergency personnel assisted those affected and cleaned up the area. Police say only two people were hospitalized, both with only minor injuries.
The highway was reopened around 1:30 P.M.
