A man from Livingston County won $500,000 on his first lottery ticket, which he purchased in Saginaw.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased the Wild Side instant game ticket at the Fast Lane Convenience Store at 3540 State Street on his 21st birthday. The man said he didn’t know how the game worked at first, so he asked his parents for help. He said when they revealed the $500,000 prize they didn’t think it was real.
The player said he plans to use his winnings to study abroad and pay for his tuition, as well as save for the future.
