17-Year-Old Arrested for Bringing Gun to Mt. Pleasant Football Game

Police in Mount Pleasant arrested a teen at a Mount Pleasant High School football game Friday night.

Police received a report the 17 year old may have had a gun. When police confronted the suspect and asked him to step outside the stadium, the teen allegedly got into a physical confrontation with the officers. The suspect was arrested and a gun was recovered by police.

Police say the suspect is not a student in the district.
