14-Year-Old Charged in Tuscola County School Threat

A threat toward Cass City Public Schools has led to the arrest and charges against a 14-year-old boy.

The Tuscola County Prosecuting Attorney has charged the boy with making a false report or threat of terrorism. That charge could result in a 20 year prison sentence. The county is also investigating several other threats against schools, which the prosecutor’s office say it’s taking a hard line against in the wake of the Oxford High School shooting.

The boy’s next court date is pending.
