Wednesday Indie Music Day–Madison Douglas

Madison Douglas

A listener emailed me last year about seeing a young artist named Madison Douglas perform in Bay City. The found Madison far more entertaining and engaging than the headlining act, and urged me to play one of her songs on WSGW’s First Day.

After reviewing a couple of her numbers, I saw exactly why the listener was so impressed!

I played Madison’s “Girls Don’t Cry Wolf,” which made the honorable mention list on my “Top Five Indie Songs Of 2015.” My cohost Michael Percha even gave it a thumbs-up, too!

The Interlochen graduate is now a USC student, and continues to release beautiful and thought-provoking material.

Here’s a new one shared on Sunday. On her Facebook, Madison says “Second Thoughts is about how she went through self-doubt after her move to SoCal.

Check-out her songs and don’t forget to find her on Twitter!
