The Saginaw School Board’s August Human Resources Committee meeting is expected to include discussion about efforts to find  a permanent superintendent.

Trustees voted four to three earlier this year not to extend former Superintendent Nathaniel McClain’s contract past June 30th. That resulted in Assistant Superintendent Ramont Roberts becoming Interim Superintendent.

School Board President Rudy Patterson says the district also has to address a  number of vacancies that have developed at the administrative and teacher level.
